Magnifier is made by Solidary Solutions AB, Sweden. This page describes what the app does with data. The short version: what you look at never leaves your phone.
Nothing, by us. The app has no account, no sign-up, and no analytics run by us.
Camera. The app uses your camera only to show a magnified live image on your screen, with optional light. When you freeze the image ("Hold still"), the picture is held in the app's memory on your device only — it is never saved to your photo library, never uploaded, and it is discarded when you unfreeze or close the app. The microphone is not used and the app cannot record audio.
Advertising. The free version shows one banner ad served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process device information (such as advertising ID and IP address) to serve and measure ads, as in any ad-supported app. In the EU/EEA and UK you will be asked for consent first, and you can choose non-personalized ads. See Google's privacy policy. If you purchase "Remove ads", no ads are shown.
Purchases. The "Remove ads" purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. We receive no payment details.
We run no servers for this app, so there is nothing for us to retain, sell, or share. Camera images are never transmitted. The only third party involved is Google (AdMob for ads, Google Play for purchases), under their own policies.
The app is not directed at children.
